What Are the Artesan Lofts?
Immersed in art, education, and historical landmarks with convenient access to all Aurora has to offer, the Artesan Lofts are 38 new artist-preference apartments adjacent to the Paramount Theatre and directly above the new Paramount School of the Arts in downtown Aurora.
Do You Have to Be An Artist to Live at The Artesan Lofts?
No, but the Artesan Lofts do have income restrictions. Anyone who qualifies under the income restrictions may apply, but a leasing preference is provided to applicant head of households who are working artists. No income need be derived from an applicant’s art practice, as many artists also work in other fields to pay the bills. Non-artist family members are welcome. Roommates are welcome, but preferences will be given to roommates where each is a working artist.
How Much is Rent?
1 Bedroom – $1,000
2 Bedroom – $1,131
* Net payable rent will be reduced by a utility allowance applicable to the unit size.
What utilities are included?
Tenant is responsible for paying their own gas and electric. However, tenants will also receive a Utility allowance which is a net reduction from your rent payment. The Utility allowance for a 1 Bedroom is $82 ($1000 Net Rent) and Utility allowance for a 2 Bedroom is $111 ($1131 Net Rent).
